I received my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA in January 2013.
When did you join the Galvin Therapy Center?
I Joined Galvin Therapy Center part-time in January 2014.
Your special areas of interest include:
My areas of special interest are in sensory integration, handwriting and feeding.
What varied experience do you have in your field?
I have fieldwork experience in inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient pediatrics. I am in my second year working full-time in public school, grades 4-12.

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about helping others in any capacity. Throughout high school and college, I was involved in a variety of service projects and nothing was more rewarding than volunteering time to help others in need. People appreciate the smallest acts of kindness.
What inspired you to pursue your current career path?
My family inspired me to become an occupational therapist. I have always loved working with kids and knew I wanted to pursue a career in pediatrics. My sister used to receive services when she was younger and I always thought it seemed like a fun and rewarding career.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love interacting with the children, they are always so much fun. It is rewarding to see children and their families so proud when the they finally master a skill.
