Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS)
Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) is one of the most common assessments used for diagnosing and evaluating children and adults on the autism spectrum. The ADOS test examines areas of communication, social skills, play, imagination and behavior through a series of structured and semi-structured tasks.
How ADOS Helps
Determining the best method of treatment for a child is the first step in any successful program. Also, often schools or other programs will want an assessment done to determine which program a child may fall into and what may be best done to help the child.
