Anne Marie Cariy
Anne Marie Carey is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience working with children from preschool through high school-age. She earned her B.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and she earned her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Kent State University. She is a proud member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is PROMPT-trained, having recently attended the first level of the training. Before working at Galvin Therapy Center, she enjoyed working in two different public school systems. When not at work, she enjoys attending the events of her four children (ranging in age from 9-15), beit their sports of volleyball, basketball, softball, or baseball, or their musical events with the school bands. When not at their events, she enjoys baking, reading, and going on vacations with her family. She loves working with children and their families, helping them to improve their communication skills. Her father, a teacher for 36 years, always said that, “If you can look in the mirror every day and say you made a difference in the lives of students, you’ll never work a day in your life”. Those words are very wise, and Anne Marie thinks of them often!
