Becky Malek

Becky Malek has been an Occupational Therapist since 2003.  She graduated from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences in 2002 and a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2003.  While at Gannon University, she was honored with the Excellence in Occupational Therapy Award. Becky has been part of the Galvin Therapy Center team since August of 2019.  Prior to working at Galvin Therapy, she worked as a pediatric Occupational Therapist in several local school districts in Northeast Ohio.  Becky has enjoyed getting to know different populations, having also worked in a local skilled nursing facility.  She is truly passionate about the pediatric population and loves to see the progress that the children make. She also enjoys working closely with families to help children meet their goals. Becky’s areas of special interest include sensory processing and handwriting. When she is not working, Becky enjoys spending time with her family, including watching her two boys play soccer and her daughter dance.  She also enjoys reading, walking her two dogs, and trying out new restaurants around Cleveland.  Becky’s favorite quote is, “Do your best, and forget the rest”, as she frequently tells this to her own children.
