Director of Therapy Operations/Speech-Language Pathologist

Crysten Skebo is the Director of Therapy Operations for Galvin Therapy Center. She handles the behind-the-scenes processes of the outpatient therapy department, supervises and mentors our multidisciplinary team of therapists, and ensures that our clients receive the highest quality of services. Additionally, she is a practicing speech-language pathologist with special interests in the areas of language, literacy, autism, and feeding. Crysten has been with Galvin Therapy since 2012. Prior to that, she worked for a non-profit organization in outpatient clinics and schools. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and then from Case Western Reserve University with a Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and she has been a recipient of their Award for Continuing Education twice. She enjoys presenting on topics related to all aspects of pediatric therapy for parents, students, and professionals. She has completed advanced training in many diverse areas of her clinical practice, from the Wilson Language System to the SOS Approach to Feeding. In her spare time, Crysten loves taking trips to the ocean, decorating her house, learning new things, and playing the guitar. She is inspired by the strength of Galvin Therapy Center’s clients and families and is passionate about doing what she can to improve the quality of their lives.
