Delaney Jacob is a Speech-Language Pathologist that joined the Galvin Therapy team in May 2022. She earned her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and minor in Psychology at the University of Cincinnati in May 2020 and her graduate degree from Case Western Reserve University in May 2022. At Case Western Reserve University, Delaney worked in various settings, including teletherapy, hospitals, and private practices in the areas of developmental speech, language, social communication, and feeding. She completed her graduate research on feeding outcomes in infants and children who received care from a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting. Delaney has a passion for assessing and treating infants and children with pediatric feeding disorders and dysphagia. However, as eating is a social activity, language cannot be removed from feeding management. Thus, she strives to be a well-rounded clinician with a strong understanding of overall child development to care for the community effectively. Delaney believes that every “win” in speech therapy should be celebrated, no matter how big or small. Delaney enjoys musicals, crocheting, exploring Cleveland, playing soccer, and spending quality time with her friends and family in her free time.
