Erica Furniss is a pediatric Occupational Therapist and Clinical Coordinator at Galvin Therapy Center. She works with clients from 0-21 addressing self-regulation, sensory processing, feeding, motor delays, autism spectrum disorders, and cognitive delays. She has additional experience working as an OT in various schools across Cuyahoga County. Erica earned her graduate degree from Duquesne University in 2013. She has received Handwriting without Tears Level 1 Certification and has completed the Level 1 Mentorship for Sensory Processing at the STAR Center in Denver, CO. She has additional specialized training in feeding therapy, Interactive Metronome, and Integrated Listening Systems. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association. Erica enjoys taking adventurous vacations and has visited New Zealand, Alaska, and Niagara Falls with her husband. Erica believes everyone should strive for their best, and her favorite quote is, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars”. She enjoys the challenge and reward of helping clients reach their maximum potential to be successful in all environments.
