Jessica Joyce-Norton is a Speech Language Pathologist at Galvin Therapy Center. Her personal experiences and extensive background in customer/client services ultimately led her to becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist, as she derives great satisfaction from helping others overcome challenges and feel like the best versions of themselves. Jessica earned her Master’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Cleveland State University and subsequently earned a Certificate in Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Jessica has been part of the Galvin Therapy Center team since December of 2018. She has experience working with both children and adults in a private practice setting, and she has also worked in a school setting with students from Pre-K through high school. Jessica has taken courses and and/or had additional professional training in the following areas: AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), apraxia of speech, receptive and expressive language acquisition, the Hanen method, self-regulation, Zones of Regulation, fluency of speech, SOS Approach to Feeding, and with the Passy Muir speaking valve. Jessica grew up with a sibling who has special needs and finds joy in helping families through their speech therapy journey. In her free time, Jessica enjoys cycling, cooking, and spending time with her husband, dogs, and family.
