Katie Collins is a Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys working with the pediatric population to improve their communication skills. Prior to working at Galvin Therapy Center, Katie worked at a public school district, providing speech therapy services to preschool through high school students with a variety of speech and language disorders. Katie attended Miami University of Ohio, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She earned her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Case Western Reserve University. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence and is a proud member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Katie has developed strong clinical skills in the areas of speech, language, fluency, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and social communication through continuing education courses, clinical experience, and internships. Katie enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Katie believes every child deserves a voice and loves working with children and their families to meet their communication goals.
