Occupational Therapist
Nicole Roberge is an Occupational Therapist at Galvin Therapy Center. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences at Cleveland State University and her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at The Ohio State University. Nicole has been passionate about helping the lives of young children ever since she was in high school. While at Cleveland State, Nicole volunteered at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital and worked at the Cleveland Sight Center’s summer camp, Highbrook Lodge. While in graduate school, Nicole completed a pediatric specialization that investigated the use of sensory interventions within behavioral therapy interventions. Continuing with a sensory interest, her doctoral capstone project investigated the effectiveness of sensory interventions for addressing attention. Nicole worked in an aquatic therapy lab, helping children with autism develop safe water skills, and worked as a behavior technician throughout graduate school. Nicole’s goal is to help every child that walks through these doors achieve their highest potential. When not at work, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and finding new places to explore.
