Sarah Bauman is a Speech-Language Pathologist who joined the Galvin Therapy Center team in April 2022. Sarah completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at University of Dayton. Following graduation, she worked at an autism school in Columbus, Ohio. She decided that her passion was communication and began a leveling year to obtain the coursework needed at Saint Louis University. Sarah then attended Case Western Reserve University, where she received her M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Sarah began her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist working at a school for children with autism. Here, she continued to explore her passion for AAC and interdisciplinary care. Sarah is excited about the opportunity to work at Galvin Therapy Center to serve children and their families. She is dedicated to continuing to grow and learn as a therapist and helping children to expand their communication and language. Sarah hopes to be a support and advocate for families as they face challenges related to developmental disabilities and communication. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs. She likes being active and exploring new restaurants and places in Cleveland.
