Self Care 😇 – Because Parents Deserve Some Too

★Reminder #1 – being a parent can be exhausting…Remember to show yourself some love by also making yourself and your own health a priority

★Reminder #2 – you are not selfish for participating in acts of self-care

★Reminder #3 – don’t be too hard on yourself, especially if your child has a bad day.

★Reminder #4 – by taking your kid(s) to therapy, you are helping them to participate in an act of selfcare

★Self-Care Ideas

■ Hydrate yourself and eat nutritious foods

■ Get adequate sleep, move your body, limit social media use

■ Remind yourself that it is okay to say “no” sometimes!

■ Embrace where you are & don’t forget how far you have come!

■ Set boundaries to ensure balance in your life

■ Don’t be afraid to lean on others for help
