Galvin Therapy Center boasts one of Northeast Ohio’s most
accomplished and credentialed staff of therapists.

We take great care to maintain a diverse team, allowing us to address
each child’s need from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Interdisciplinary Approach

Using an interdisciplinary approach means that your child can be evaluated by our entire team of specialists, adding depth to the therapeutic process.

If any of our therapists need a consultation from someone outside of our expertise, we welcome the opportunity to learn from other disciplines. Our goal is to keep up to date with the latest effective therapeutic methods in order to give your child the best possible care.

Meet Our Owner

Kara Brogan

Owner/Executive Director/Occupational Therapist

Kara Brogan, is the owner and executive director of Galvin Therapy Center.

She has been an occupational therapist since 1998. Kara earned her B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Xavier University and has completed coursework for a M.S. in Cognitive Disabilities at Nova Southeastern University.

Kara worked in Ireland as a pediatric occupational therapist in the Midland Health Board. It was here that she developed her love for developing programs, and a path to having her own therapy practice was started. Upon returning to Cleveland, Kara spent 10 years working within public schools, before beginning work as the clinical director at Galvin Therapy Center.

In 2017, Kara purchased Galvin Therapy Center from the founder and owner. Since then, Kara has grown the practice to include talented therapists and interventionists, add a therapy center in Avon, and include ABA programming to the multidisciplinary practice.

When not working, Kara enjoys cooking, reading, playing with her dog ‘Tilly’, and spending time with family and friends. She loves watching her children grow and thrive through sports and music. Kara has always had a passion for working with children.

Her goal is to help children and families achieve their potential by working with them to develop needed skills. Kara lives by the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “ Be the change that you wish to see in the world ”.
