Nicole Harbert is a Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys developing and providing evidence-based treatment to the pediatric population. Nicole enjoys the friendly atmosphere and collaborative approach Galvin Therapy Center offers their patients and employees. Prior to working at Galvin Therapy Center, Nicole worked at a pediatric private practice in West Chester, OH, for 2 years. Nicole graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence and is a proud member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Nicole has developed strong clinical skills in the areas of speech, language, fluency, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and feeding through continuing education courses, clinical experience, and internships. She has received additional training in the Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) program and Talk Tools, A Sensory-Motor Feeding Approach. Nicole enjoys working with patients and their families to achieve milestones. Seeing her patients and family members smile when they achieve that milestone continues to motivate her every day. Nicole loves to hike, kayak, and explore new places with her friends and family. She believes every patient deserves to have functional communication skills to interact with their peers.
