Applied Behavioral Analysis
(ABA)
What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is a science focused on using strategies to change behavior. Grounded in the principles of learning, behavior analysts (BCBAs) assess the functional relationship between the behavior, the person, and the environment. We use this information to develop an intensive program to address the specific needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other behavioral and developmental challenges. Our treatment team may be comprised of a behavior analyst (BCBA, BCaBA), behavior technicians (RBT), teachers and parents/caregivers.
